PSPO notices in Buckinghamshire – have your say!

RESIDENTS are being called to have their say on Public Safety Protection Orders (PSPOs) in Bucks.

PSPOs are intended to address a specific nuisance or problem in a particular area that affects the quality of life of the local community.

They can cover various issues such as anti-social behavior or begging and working by placing conditions on the use of this area.

Terms apply to everyone in this area under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, PSPO.

Buckinghamshire Council is calling on the public to have a say in four PSPOs currently in place at Bucks.

This includes:

The Cabinet Member of the Communities Council said: ‘We are really keen to hear from local people, whether they are residents, businesses or organisations, to let us know their thoughts on these PSPOs. .

“For our health and well-being, it is important that everyone who lives or works in an area feels safe when they are on the move. Sometimes the behavior of a small minority of people can affect these feelings.

“PSPOs are a way to address issues of anti-social behavior, so we’d like to know what people think of the ones we currently have in place.

“I urge anyone with a link to these areas to learn more and take a few minutes to complete the survey.”
